Our Testing Process
We do not rank platforms from press releases. For every sportsbook, crypto betting site, trading platform and prediction market we review, our team opens a real account, completes identity verification, deposits real funds, places real bets or trades, contacts customer support with real questions, and withdraws the balance while timing every step. A review is only published once this full cycle is complete.
Alongside hands-on testing, we verify licensing directly with regulators, read the complete terms and conditions of every bonus, and monitor user-reported issues across public forums and complaint databases.

What Each Factor Means in Practice
01Licensing & Safety
We verify every license number with the issuing regulator (state gaming commissions, UKGC, MGA, Curacao). Unlicensed platforms are never listed, regardless of commercial terms.
02Bonus Value
A "$1,000 bonus" with 15x rollover can be worth less than a $150 bonus with none. We calculate the realistic cash value of every offer and score that, not the headline.
03Odds / Fees
For sportsbooks we measure the average margin across major markets. For exchanges and brokers we compare spreads, maker/taker fees and overnight costs against the category median.

Independence From Advertising
SportsbooksTrader earns affiliate commissions, and compensation may influence which offers we can display and their placement in some modules. It never changes a platform's score. Review Cycle and Corrections
Scores are re-assessed every 90 days, and sooner when something material changes: a licensing action, a payout slowdown, a bonus overhaul or a security incident. Offers shown in comparison widgets are checked continuously. If you spot an error or an outdated offer, tell us and we will verify and correct it promptly.
